MOUNTAIN HARE FEEDING ON AN EXPOSED PLATEAU
I was working at extremely close quarters with this mountain hare, perhaps as little as a few feet, and whilst I wanted to include elements of the habitat, I preferred the images where the focus gradually dropped away, echoing the soft tones of the windblown spindrift. As I was so close to the hare it required a closeddown aperture of f/13 to create the appropriate depth of field.
