SHOULD I SWITCH?
I’VE ALWAYS BEEN A TRADITIONAL CANON DSLR SHOOTER HOWEVER I’M THINKING OF SWITCHING TO A MIRRORLESS SYSTEM. I FEEL LIKE THIS IS A BIG STEP AS ALL MY GEAR AND ACCESSORIES ARE SET UP FOR MY CANON. ANY THOUGHTS?

Ah, the big switch is a question many photographers ponder! There are lots who have jumped ship and never looked back, whilst others have considered it but then not taken the plunge.
The obvious advantage of a mirrorless system is the weight and size of the camera – if this is an issue for you Ken then definitely a change could be the right decision. Not knowing what Canon camera body you have or lenses and accessories makes it tricky to know how much you have to lose. Have you considered one of the mirrorless Canon EOS R system cameras? You can still use your EF lenses on them with a Canon EF-RF mount adapter, so this might be the best option rather than completely changing brands and having to start all over again. SOME PREFER THE LIGHTER AND MORE AGILE WEIGHT OF A MIRRORLESS SYSTEM LIKE THE CANON EOS R5, WHILST OTHERS ARE HAPPY STICKING TO THEIR DSLR SYSTEM
