INSIDE HARRY’S LOWEPRO CAMERA BAG

-

1 CANON 5DSR Although production of the Canon EOS 5DS R ended a long time ago, there’s still stock out there. The 50.6-megapixel resolution is ideal for Harry to make large prints and calendars, and publish books from.

2 CANON EF 16-35MM F/4L IS USM LENS This fixed aperture, ultra wideangle zoom lens is used for the majority of Harry’s classic landscape shots. He generally shoots images with narrow apertures, for front to back sharpness, so the maximum f/4 aperture is no hindrance.

3“I CANON 70-200MM LENS very rarely use this lens, but it can come in handy for compressing misty scenes.” On our shoot, Harry used the optic to hone in on some cows across the river, acting as focal points in the frame.

4 LEOFOTO LS-342C Harry tested this tripod a few years ago and has been using it ever since. Without a central column, it’s light yet sturdy – weighing 1.91kg, it can support up to 15kg of gear.

5 INFRARED CAMERA “I’ve had the Fujifilm X-A3 sensor converted to 720nm, which is the spectrum of light that it captures.” Harry uses this pocket-sized mirrorless to shoot monochrome infrared landscapes. Adding an infrared filter to a lens works the same way, blocking visible light so the camera only sees infrared light.

6 LEE FILTERS “I’m a big fan of LEE and I’ve been using them – polarisers and neutral density filters – since I was 12. I’m excited to announce that I’m becoming one of their workshop partners and ambassadors."
