The four-star-superior Panoramahotel Oberjoch provides the ideal surroundings for winter wellness. Next to comfortable, spacious rooms and two restaurants, the hotel convinces guests with its Alpin-SPA, to relax in after a long day on the ski slopes. Oberjoch is the perfect spot for winter sports.

The sunny valley high up in the Alps is a paradise for all nature lovers, gourmets and those searching for new strength. The ski lifts and mountain railways lie directly opposite the hotel, and sports enthusiasts will find the ideal conditions for winter sports: from difficult downhill slopes to family fun on the toboggan run.“My insider tip is our free-of-charge, guided snowshoe hiking tour with guide Hans. He is already 80 years old, but far fitter than most 30-year-olds,” says marketing team member Stefan Hess.

Guests will find relaxation and a good night’s sleep in the Panoramahotel Oberjoch’s spacious rooms. Furnished in a modern Alpine style, they all have a balcony with views towards the mountains or over the valley. The suites have additional extras, like a sauna in the room, a billiard table or a fitness studio.

The hotel also has some real gastronomic highlights: The panorama restaurant prepares a healthy breakfast each morning, as well as a five-course menu in the evening.“Every first Friday of the month we have our kitchen party, when guests can observe our cooks at different food stations,”says Stefan Hess.

The restaurant ‘Zwölfhundert NN’ is an exclusive à-la-carte-restaurant in the middle of the Chalet village that belongs to the hotel. Regional and seasonal dishes stand in focus: the head chef uses what the local nature has to offer each season, and from that, creates unique and unusual taste experiences.

The 13 chalets of the village are another of the Panoramahotel Oberjoch’s true gems on offer. Here, individual travellers can find tranquillity and couples will enjoy a romantic retreat with their own living room, sauna and terrace (www.alpin-chalets.com). With the Alpin Lodges, the hotel also provides luxurious holiday apartments close to the hotel (www.alpin-lodges.de). Guests of chalets and apartments can use all the hotel’s amenities.

Guests coming home from skiing feeling tired, cold and with aching muscles, can later relax in the 3,000-square-metre Alpin-SPA, enjoy the hourly sauna infusions or float in the heated indoor and outdoor pool – with views over the snow-covered roofs of the chalets, and the surrounding mountains.
