Dear Reader,

February is usually grey, cold and dull; a lost month in between the end of the fun Christmas and New Year’s festivities and the beginning of the long-awaited first spring temperatures. But February doesn’t have to go by without enjoying it – that would really be a waste of 28 days (or 29, in the case of 2020!). Before spring is calling us outside again, we should enjoy the last few days on the sofa without feeling guilty, with a cup of tea or a glass of tasty wine – plus, our new February issue!

Speaking of wine, in this issue we explore the top-ten German wine regions which are well worth a visit in 2020. After all, what could be better than a trip to a new place and some beautiful wines on the side?
