Elegant, simple, modern or beautifully crazy: wedding rings, the centrepiece of the ceremony, should match our personality perfectly. Hagen-based goldsmiths Adam and its new wedding ring studio, ‘Eva Trauringwelten’ (‘Eva world of wedding rings’), offers a sophisticated location where it’s easy to find the perfect rings to emphasise our own individuality.

When he was just eight years old, goldsmith Ingo Adam had already created his own pieces of jewellery in his father Oskar’s workshop. While he was assorting gemstones or threading beads from the South Seas, he quickly realised what his dream job would be. So, after graduating from high school, he became a goldsmith apprentice in the family business, which was founded in 1959. Today, he manages the workshop and jewellery store together with his brother Burkhard.

However, adding ‘Eva’ to the ‘Adam’ is a brand-new chapter as the passionate goldsmith explains: “Although we have been selling wedding rings – made in our workshop – for 60 years, we’ve never had a separate consulting area for couples. That’s why we had the idea for beautiful‘EVA’.”

The Adam family came up with something truly special, because ‘Eva Trauringwelten’ offers three differently designed consulting spaces. Each convinces with its own individual look. You can choose between the romantic, the natural and the sophisticated consulting area. It doesn’t matter if you prefer it pristine white or enjoy the retro look; in this calm and relaxed atmosphere you will most certainly find the right rings for you.

The materials and designs are as versatile as the interiors. From flawless diamonds, platinum, gold and stainless steel to titanium and carbon, there is something for everyone. The inspiration for the pieces often comes from nature. Structures and shapes from leaves and branches all influence the designs, as well as coral formations and shells, which Ingo Adam discovers during diving.

‘Eva’s’ competent team gives sound advice to the couples.“Wedding rings have to be comfortable, they should not pinch or have a rough surface,”the expert states.“If the ring fits well, we look at the colour of the gold. Does it match the skin tone? Both man and woman have to be happy with the rings and the lady’s ring should feature a flawless diamond. Of course, man and man, as well as woman and woman, are also very welcome at Eva’s.”
