A gourmet spot at Lake Starnberg
Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten at Lake Starnberg is a place for real gourmets. Besides the restaurant Aubergine and highquality rooms, the hotel surprises guests with the largest rum collection in southern Germany, at the Hemingway Bar.
Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Starnberg is the ideal destination for people looking for tranquillity as well as business guests who value the combination of business and leisure: a holistic culinary concept, flexible function rooms and a comfortable ambiance await anyone who checks in. The hotel cooperates with many regional partners, so that guests can explore the surrounding areas – for example, driving a Vespa around the lake.
The rooms have all the comfort one could hope for – soft beds, a minibar free of charge and a Nespresso machine for the morning coffee. The wellness area offers a sauna, steam bath, Kneipp basin and a panorama roof terrace with view over Starnberg.
The hotel’s culinary heart is the Gourmetrestaurant Aubergine, awarded one Michelin star in 2014. Head chef Maximilian Moser started his career at the age of 16 in the renowned house, Alois Dallmayr, in Munich, after discovering his passion for cooking during a work placement. Moser took over Gourmetrestaurant Aubergine in 2012 at the age of 28, and since then, has been charming guests with unique creations from excellent products, combining professional perfection with strong passion.
