Deceleration is part of the concept at Eco Lodges on the Franconian Lakes near Nuremberg. The luxurious villas on the water, each with their own water terrace, lie at a pier 250 metres from the shore, in the middle of lake Brombachsee.
“It is a special experience that can be found nowhere else in Germany,” says managing director Ralf Tellmann. The Floating Village Brombachsee is Germany’s first four-star holiday park on the water, certified by the German tourism board DTV. The lodges are designed in four styles and have hotel character: using a digital concierge, guests can, for example, order drinks and breakfast that can be delivered to the house by boat. The shuttle service is by boat or golf cart.
The water villas are ideal for company meetings. All 19 houses have two double rooms, with single occupancy there is space for 38 people.“One of the houses can be used for supplies and catering,” says managing director Christian Sternke. The pier for the MS Brombachsee lies directly around the corner: the trimaran provides conference rooms directly on the water. For some relaxation after work, meanwhile, Eco Lodges also offers wellness on and ShinrinYoku at the water.
Eco Lodges focuses on sustainability – from green electricity to waste separation on the water and eco cosmetics. On top of this, all houses provide sustainable wines stored in a driftwood wine tree.
