“It was our main goal to create a brand that focuses on great products for a great price,”says Claudia Jachowicz, Joie brand marketing and product manager. The founder had come to the realisation that affordable products were often of bad quality, with the functionality suffering and the levels of pollutants being quite high. Joie was founded in 2009, setting out to do better.
A good example of the combination of security, comfort and functionality is the infant carrier i-Level, that comes ‘highly recommended’ by the Swiss breakdown service TCS. It can be combined with the versatrax pram, which also features a sports seat for taller children. “Products need to be practical and functional, and they should ideally be used for a long time and combined with one another,”says Claudia Jachowicz.
The ideal child seat or pram actually does not exist, however, according to Jachowicz: “Every family has different habits, living conditions and requirements. And this leads to different products being needed.”All this means that specialist advice is always so important.
