190 years of tradition and authenticity

-

Since its establishment in 1829, the Maison Mauler has enthralled sparkling-wine enthusiasts from all over the world and is proud to maintain a tradition of outstanding quality and attention to detail from generation to generation.

Born in the monastery of Saint-Pierre in Môtiers, this familyrun business is proud to produce over 20 different vintages through its blending and attracts an average of 6,000 visitors per year.

Spokesperson Christine Mauler tells us: “What makes us different is our philosophy, but also the efforts we put into creating rich, fruity and pleasant aromas. Our constant search for quality across all areas of our craft ensures both the quality of our wines and the longevity of our enterprise.”

The traditional method applied by Maison Mauler requires complex know-how and infinite care: the second fermentation in the bottle, followed by a slow ripening for several years in the cellars, is what allows the wine to develop its exceptional taste.

With a team of 30 people, two production sites and awardwinning wines such as the Cuvée Louis-Edouard Mauler Brut 2011, the Maison Mauler has found the formula to make every glass you taste an experience in itself.
