Tucked away in the Dolomites

Since 1606, the Gatterer family has maintained a long tradition of hospitality with their South Tyrolean Hotel Pustertalerhof. Their heartfelt approach makes guests instantly feel at home. Here, nature takes centre-stage and guests can look forward to a stroll in the garden, a dip in the natural bathing pond and plenty of activities in the grand mountain landscape.

At Hotel Pustertalerhof, several generations work hand in hand and show that tradition and modern comfort can indeed be combined perfectly.

“Our parents are shaped by the long history and the natureorientated lifestyle in South Tyrol. They bring the traditional elements to the hotel,”junior manager Peter Gatterer says.“After we trained many years abroad, we youngsters have returned to the hotel and bring in our innovative ideas.”

That’s also how the newest highlight came to be: the first two-storey ‘Alpine Loft Pool’, designed by celebrity architect Hugo Demetz. Additional pools and various saunas invite the guest to fully relax.

“Our hotel is a declaration of love for natural luxury. A place to unwind, explore, to feel at ease – and to return to,”Gatterer adds with a smile.

No matter if you are keen to go hiking or skiing, or if you want to book a wellness trip or family vacation, Hotel Pustertalerhof is a wonderful temporary home.
