CLIMATE CHANGE LECTURES
A series of fortnightly lectures on the impact of Climate Change at both a global and local level starts in Bridport this month. Speakers include biologists, climatologists and writers of international standing who will cover topics ranging from coastal erosion and butterfly conservation, to the preservation of tropical rain forest and the importance of Citizen Science projects.
The first lecture, on 15 April, is The Biological Evidence for Climate Change by Sir Ghillean Prance, a world authority on the Amazon.
The talk starts at 7.30pm, at the United Reform Church, East Street, Bridport.
