Dumfries Wado-Kai Karate has returned after the festive period.
Run by David Murray and Allan McKean, operate groups at various places in the town.
Instructor David said: “It’s about getting more people to take part in karate as it can help so much.
“It teaches respect, manners and it’s a good thing to get into.
“We have a few classes in the town and we can offer to teach people karate with PTSD and disabilities. People feel it’s outside their comfort zone but there’s potential for disability karate to take off.
“There’s no better time to start with it being added to the next Olympics.”
Dumfries Wado Kai has a Facebook page and anyone looking to find out more can contact David or Allan on 07912065268 or 07542062324.
