Sponsors put the ‘IT’ into charity beer festival
FINE ales are being brewed, glasses polished and tickets bought ahead of the eagerlyanticipated return of the Dunfermline Charity Beer Festival.
It’s just over three weeks until the doors open at the Glen Pavilion, with one of the most popular events in the city’s calendar taking place on Friday, September 23, and Saturday, September 24.
This year, the main sponsors are Dunfermline-based Forth
Tech.
Project manager Tom Davison said: “As one of the longestestablished IT support companies in Scotland, Forth Tech serves businesses nationwide from strong roots here in Dunfermline.
“With staff who live locally and form part of our community, we are proud to count many local organisations amongst our evergrowing customer base.
“Forth Tech has also nurtured some key local partnerships, including our sponsorship of Dunfermline Athletic FC, the Dunfermline Rotary Charity
Gin Festival, Fife Chamber of Commerce’s annual dinner and now the main sponsor of the Dunfermline Charity Beer Festival.”
The beer festival, which is organised by Dunfermline Round Table and Dunfermline Rugby Club, with proceeds going to local good causes, returns after a three-year absence due to COVID-19.
Dunfermline Round Table secretary Craig Smith said: “We are hugely grateful for the support of local businesses such as Forth Tech but we really need everyone to come out in their droves to the beer fest, to ensure we can continue to support local charities and good causes.
“It’s been a lot of hard work but we can’t wait to bring the event back for the good folk of Dunfermline and give everyone a fantastic night out, all in the name of charity.”
Tickets are available at https:// tickets.roundtable.co.uk and on the door, priced £15 for the Friday and Saturday evening and £7 for the Saturday afternoon.
