Flowers left in memory of the Queen after Dalgety Bay annual show

-

A MINUTE’S silence was held in memory of her late Majesty the Queen at Dalgety Bay’s annual horticultural show.

The 47th show, held last Saturday, saw flowers left behind to decorate the war memorial at the town’s church as a mark of respect thanks to Veronica Simpson.

Michael Gourlay, chairman of Dalgety Bay Horticultural Society (DBHS), said: “It was a successful show and really nice to get back after the COVID years.

“Entries were good, the weather was lovely and stayed dry right through.

There were plenty of visitors and many compliments about the show were received.

“Thank you to all the volunteers who helped and thank you and well done to all the exhibitors. We will see you next year.”
