MUSIC lovers will be taken back to the 80s next month as 80s Live! comes to the Alhambra Theatre.

The hit touring concert show will take its Dunfermline audience back to a time when Duran Duran released one of their many number-one singles and the legendary Smash Hits magazine dedicated a 16-page supplement to them.

The tribute show will include hits such as Duran Duran chart toppers Rio and Girls on Film aa well as tunes from the likes of Wham!, Culture Club, Rick Astley, Madonna, Soft Cell, A-Ha, Tears for Fears, The Human League and The Weather Girls.

Sid Sims, who stars in the two-hour spectacular, promises the biggest eighties party show.

“Music lovers, it’s time to head down the Altanta Highway for a night of throwback classic hits as the 80s Live! concert show,” he said.

“We will make you feel ‘shiny and new’ as we travel back in time to one of the most iconic eras of music.

“It’s the night out you have been dreaming of so, put your hands together and get into the groove as our live band Electric Dreams brings the sounds of the Eighties back to life.”

Backcombed to perfection, The 80s Live! cast revive the fashion and dance moves from the decade that taste forgot.

A blitz of dayglo, sequins, corset belts, vinyl, legwarmers, sunglasses, elbowlength gloves, harem pants and bling awaits.

“Brand-new for 2023, it’s the show that stands head and shoulder pads above other touring concert shows,” added Sid.

“Dig out your jukebox money and get ready to jitterbug as we spin you right round in a night to remember.”

Set to come to Dunfermline on December 2, tickets are now on sale from the Alhambra Box Office.
