Step inside the iconic, fully working Tide
Mill, a living museum, sitting on the banks of Woodbridge’s River Deben. You will see how the flour is milled, find out how bread is made and learn about all the parts of the machinery and its workings. The authentic working craft mill turns regularly when the tides are right, and produces a traditional stoneground wholemeal flour for local artisan bakers, and available to purchase. Friendly wardens help you make the most of your visit. There’s a host of interactive activities and unique computer generated imagery to help you discover how the grain and ultimately the flour move around the three floors of the mill.
