Fam­i­lies vis­it­ing Ip­swich over the sum­mer can learn more about the town by fol­low­ing a seahorse trail. The Ip­swich Coat of Arms bears two sea­horses that rep­re­sent the town’s mar­itime power and her­itage as an in­ter­na­tion­ally sig­nif­i­cant port town.

Un­til Septem­ber 2 vis­i­tors can pick up the Ip­swich Fam­ily Trail map and find 10 colour­ful sea­horses hid­den across the town and the water­front. The map is avail­able at Quay Place (the trail starts there), DanceEast, the Tourist In­for­ma­tion Cen­tre, Ip­swich Town Hall, Ip­swich Mu­seum, Christchurch Man­sion, and the Reg Driver Cen­tre at Christchurch Park, or down­load it at al­laboutip­ Peo­ple can share their seahorse pho­tos to @al­laboutip­swich and with #ex­plor­eip­swich!
