CAPTURING THE ELEMENTS

EADT Suffolk - - UPFRONT -

Elemental is the title of landscape photographer Ruth Grindrod’s exhibition at The Aldeburgh Gallery this month. Ruth has earned national recognition for her work, a mix of classic and abstract images depicting some of the most inspirational landscapes in the UK and beyond, including many in Suffolk and Norfolk. The exhibition focuses on the interplay between the elements – air and water – as they transform the landscape, influencing not only its physicality but also viewers’ emotional responses, as they experience the drama and subtlety of ephemeral coastal dawns, mountainous storms, fine frosts on winter grasses and fiery sunsets. Ruth captures the essence of light as it changes throughout the seasons, and from dawn to dusk. Exhibition: October 18-24, 10am-5pm, 143 High Street, Aldeburgh 01728 454168 aldeburghgallery.co.uk ruthgrindrodlandscapephotography.co.uk
