PRATAP’S BHUNA SAUCE
Make this at home and use it with whatever meat, fish or vegetables you fancy.
Heat some oil in a pan and add a bayleaf and cumin seed. Brown an onion and add two teaspoons of ginger, along with some garlic paste and chopped tomatoes, chilli paste, tamarind, cumin, coriander and chilli salt. Add water, or reduce the sauce, to achieve the thickness you require for your dish. You can add cocunut milk or cream for a sauce that goes well with fish.
