Chapelton Primary win curling title

Four primary seven pupils from Chapelton Primary – from left, Beth Moore, Cameron Hamilton, Louis Dempster and Robyn McIntosh – took first prize when they competed in an East Kilbride area curling competition at East Kilbride ice rink recently. The quartet, pictured with Active Schools’co-ordinator Carina Gray, won a beautiful trophy which their school will keep for a year. The event was run by members of East Kilbride Curling Club and was organised by Active Schools.
