A Calderwood widow has raised a massive £25,000 for St Andrew’s Hospice as a thank you for the care they gave her late husband.

Carole Maguire’s husband, Peter, was cared for in the Lanarkshire hospice before his death last year.

She and her family decided they wanted to do something practical to show their gratitude to the hospice and set about fundraising, handing over a cheque for £25,025.
