A Slimming World consultant from East Kilbride says meeting s i nger and T V presenter Peter Andre was the perfect way to get set for a superslimming start to 2015.
Pamela Kerr was thrilled to get a chance to cuddle up to Peter when he co-hosted the Slimming World Awards with t he organisation’s chair and founder Margaret MilesBramwell.
Meeting the popular personality, said Pamela, was a wonderful way to round off what’s been a great 12 months for her classes.
“I’m so proud of all of the members. They’ve lost fantastic amounts of weight t hroughout 2014, with many of them reaching their target weights,” she added.
“It’s so rewarding to see people achieve t hings t hat t hey didn’t think possible before losing weight, whether t hat ’s wearing smaller-sized clothes, taking up new hobbies, reducing medication or being able to do more with their family and friends.”
Pe t e r, who n ow p r e s e nt s 6 0 Minute Makeover, s ai d he was delighted to meet Pamela at the event in Birmingham.
Said Pamela: “On top of seeing success on the scales, our group is a great place to make fr iends. We’ve had a lot of fun throughout the year – we’ve held parties, raised money for charity and members have cheered each other on with e v e r y s t e p of t hei r weight l os s journey.
