He proved last season how versatile he can be, playing across the midfield and up top.
The former Stranraer man scored 22 goals last term and if he can produce that kind of return from the middle of the park it will be invaluable in Kilby’s quest for the title.
Surprisingly good in the air as well, last season’s player of the year has passion for the club and will give everything for his team-mates right up to the final whistle. The Lowland League has been expanded to 16 teams for the new campaign.
After Edinburgh City’s title win and subsequent promotion to League Two via the pyramid play-offs last season, East Stirling have dropped down to the Lowland setup.
Meanwhile, with Threave Rovers resigning from the league at the end of the 2015/16 seaon, new sides Civil Service Strollers and Hawick Albert have been admitted for 2016/17.
