Teenager arrested

An 18-year old was arrested at the weekend in connection with a break-in at a house in East Kilbride.

Police received a report of an ongoing incident at a house in Owen Park, The Murray at around 2.50am on Friday.

The teenager was subsequently arrested by officers and reported to the procurator fiscal for a number of alleged offences.
