RE­WARD FOR LOST RING

Sen­ti­men­tal An East Kil­bride pen­sioner is of­fer­ing a cash re­ward for in­for­ma­tion on her lost en­gage­ment ring.

Mary Dick mis­placed her trea­sured age-old jew­ellery around two months ago and is ap­peal­ing to pub­lic to help her find it.

Her daugh­ter Jan­ice Bick­er­staff told the News:“My mum is ab­so­lutely dis­traught after hav­ing lost the ring. It’s been over 64 years since my dad worked tire­lessly as a young man to save up in or­der to pro­pose to his child­hood sweet­heart.

“It has sen­ti­men­tal value to us more than any­thing. We’ve turned the house upside down and still are un­able find it. We’re ask­ing the peo­ple of East Kil­bride to help us out. This is our last re­sort.”

The ring has a three-di­a­mond crossover with plat­inum set­ting and shoul­ders and is made from 18-carat yel­low gold.
