REWARD FOR LOST RING
Sentimental An East Kilbride pensioner is offering a cash reward for information on her lost engagement ring.
Mary Dick misplaced her treasured age-old jewellery around two months ago and is appealing to public to help her find it.
Her daughter Janice Bickerstaff told the News:“My mum is absolutely distraught after having lost the ring. It’s been over 64 years since my dad worked tirelessly as a young man to save up in order to propose to his childhood sweetheart.
“It has sentimental value to us more than anything. We’ve turned the house upside down and still are unable find it. We’re asking the people of East Kilbride to help us out. This is our last resort.”
The ring has a three-diamond crossover with platinum setting and shoulders and is made from 18-carat yellow gold.
If you have any information about its whereabouts that may be helpful to Janice and her family, please contact her on 07882 750275 or via Facebook.
