A serial flasher is believed to be targeting women in East Kilbride – after a fourth incident of indecent exposure in the town.

A man exposed himself and carried out an indecent act when a 56-year-old woman was walking alone in the underpass at East Kilbride town centre roundabout on Monday, August 27 at 12.30pm.

The male is aged between 20 and 25, is around 5ft 4in tall and was wearing black jogging bottoms and a black jacket.

Police believe the incident may be linked to three similar cases which took place in the town during July and August.

Inspector Aidan Higgins of East Kilbride police said: “Our investigation into this and previous incidents is ongoing.

“We believe the incidents may be linked and committed by the same person.

“I urge anyone who may have passed through the underpass around the time and saw the man fitting the description and acting suspiciously to come forward.”

Call police on 101 if you have any information.
