East Kilbride News - - NEWS - Andrea Lambrou

3rd East Kilbride Scouts have an important message for everyone attending their fireworks display on Bonfire Night.

The event takes place outside the scout hall on Carlyle Drive on Monday, November 5 and group scout leader Andrew Brown is keen to make sure there are no traffic problems.

Mr Brown said: “Members of the scout group will receive tickets to guarantee entry through the side gate but members of the public will be most welcome with entry through the main gate in the car park in Carlyle Drive.

“There is no charge for entry – but we do ask for donations to cover the costs of the fireworks and to help with the running of our scout group.

“We ask that people arrive in good time and walk to the event or park elsewhere to avoid blocking up Carlyle Drive.”

Gates open from 7pm with the fireworks display commencing at 7.30pm.

There will be hot dogs, soup, tea, coffee and a tuckshop.

Don’t forget your winter woolies – and sparkers!
