Buggy Battlefield so frustrating
PS4, Xbox One, PC With this new release, Battlefield has gone back to its World War Two roots and, while graphically stunning and immersive, the rest of the buggy, partfinished game ruins things.
There’s a huge day-one patch that should fix a lot of the issues, but players will have to wait for their single-player campaign to be released — albeit soon —
with Battle Royale mode not ready until next March.
Not ideal for a game trying to compete with COD.
It’s a real shame as, at its core, this delivers some of the best gameplay the series has seen in years and it’s more hardcore than before.
There’s a great game in there, but you’d be best waiting a few months to actually buy and enjoy it.
