Police recruitment team will be on hand at open day
A drop-in session for anyone wishing to start a career in the police is to be held at the Scottish Police College in Jackton.
Organised by Police Scotland recruitment officers, the event is designed to offer help and guidance to anyone starting the application process.
Acting as an information day, the sessions offer a host of details about life as a police officer and the benefits of the job.
These sessions also explain the opportunities for career progression within the force, as well as providing help for specific questions about the application process.
Members of the police recruitment team will be on hand to speak in person to anyone interested in finding out more. Held on Saturday, February 2 at the college on Eaglesham Road, the session starts at 9.45am.
Those interested will then be helped with advice on how to complete the application form, help with interview preparation, and tips on what to expect from the assessment centre stage of the process.
Details about the standard entrance and fitness tests will also be addressed.
On the day, attendees must take photographic identification, and a notebook and pen, and should avoid bringing bags which may be subject to a search.
