Festive fundraiser raises funds to help Women’s Aid
Mums and tots in East Kilbride helped raise nearly £200 for Women’s Aid South Lanarkshire with a festive fundraiser.
The YogaBellies group held their annual party at the Village Centre with all getting involved in some Yuletide cheer while flexing those muscles.
Owner of YogaBellies, Anne Perry, said:“Each year YogaBellies selects a charity and this year it was Women’s Aid.
“We charged a ticket price and had a raffle and raised a total of £180 which I have passed on to Women’s Aid South Lanarkshire.
“I love my Christmas parties as each year the babies who were in their mummies tummies when they started my YogaBellies for Pregnancy classes get bigger and bigger and we have some four-year-olds there now.
“This also means I need to work harder to amuse them every year! So this year we had cupcake decorating, festive crafts, and a fun festive Spanish lesson from the local company Kidslingo Glasgow South.”
