EK Pirates teams return to thefield

East Kilbride Pirates’ senior, youth and flag teams returned to the field on Sunday to start the 2019 pre-season, with well attended sessions all round.

Joining the returning squad and graduating junior class were over 20 new rookies, as well as some familiar faces dusting off the pads.

The latest graduates of the two youth teams and many new faces also packed out the room for a junior meeting and kit session before taking to the field.

The East Kilbride Pirates youth team started back yesterday evening at Duncanrig Secondary School and they will welcome brand new players on Sunday from 10am-12pm for their annual try-out sessions.

Remember, it’s not too late to get involved at any level with the club.
