Points shared for Golds

It was a share of the spoils at Ar­gyll Park in Alexan­dria on Sun­day af­ter­noon as the U19 Golds drew 2-2 with­Vale of Leven.

A slug­gish per­for­mance saw the boys drop two points in their first game back fol­low­ing the fes­tive break.

A dou­ble from Jony Wills en­sured Kilby started the year with some­thing to show for their ef­forts.

Draw with Bankies

The un­der-19 Blues also had to set­tle for a point on Sun­day af­ter­noon as they fought out a 1-1 draw with Cly­de­bank at K-Park.

In a very com­pet­i­tive and en­ter­tain­ing match, the sides couldn’t be sep­a­rated and a point apiece was a fair re­sult.

The scorer for East Kil­bride was Cavanagh as the side now pre­pare for a busy Jan­uary pe­riod.

Back to league duty for U17s

Satur­day will see the U17s get back to league duty as they make the trip to Lin­wood Rangers.

The side will be hop­ing to take their im­pres­sive 2018 form into the new cal­en­dar year.

Cup ac­tion for Re­serves

The Kilby re­serves faced Queen’s Park in the SPFL Re­serve Chal­lenge Cup onTues­day night at K-Park as they got back to com­pet­i­tive busi­ness since the Christ­mas and New Year break.

Train­ing re­sumed last Tues­day night as the squad look to con­tinue their im­pres­sive start to their league cam­paign, which sees them sit­ting third in the ta­ble.
