Enter your kid to our competition

The EK News’ popular Cute Kids competition is back – and we want you to get involved.

Proud parents, gushing grandparents, and sensitive siblings are being asked to put forward their nominations for the area’s bonniest baby.

Last year Rory McIntyre, Ivy Clark and Lacey Divers were voted top of the tots in East Kilbride, with the trio scooping a great prize.

Now we’re looking to crown the next prince or princesses of East Kilbride for 2019 – can any of the three hold onto their crown?

Well, if you know a cheeky cherub or a totally awesome tot that can challenge them for the throne, then we want to see your pictures.

And it couldn’t be easier - if you think your little smasher’s got what it takes, then simply send us in a picture and we’ll print it in the paper over the coming weeks.

Whether a newborn baby, a toddler or infant, we want to see your little treasures. Our competition is open to everyone in our readership area and this year has three age categories: 0-9 months, 9-18 months and 18 months - three years.

For the 0-9 month category winner, the prize also includes a £50 gift card to use at EK, East Kilbride shopping centre, which will come in handy in those first special months.

We have teamed up with Ewelina McNally Photography to offer a photoshoot to the winners of the 9-18 months and 18 months – three-years categories, with a box of five enlarged prints for the family to take home, is also up for grabs.

And it couldn’t be easier to enter. All you need to do is head to www. eastkilbridenews.co.uk/cutekids and follow the simple instructions.

Uploading your picture will only take a couple of minutes – and you can do it from your mobile phone. Unfortunately, we can’t accept any entries by post.

Closing date for entries is Wednesday, July 24, 2019.

HOW TO ENTER

1. Log on to www.eastkilbridenews.co.uk/ cutekids. We can only accept entries online.

2.You’ll be asked to enter your details as the parent or carer and your child’s name and date of birth. If your child is 9 months or under before Wednesday, July 24, 2019 then you can enter the 0-9 months category. If your child is 9-18 months before Wednesday, July 24, 2019 then you enter the 9-18 months category. And if your child is 18 months - three-years before Wednesday, July 24, 2019 then you can enter the 18 months - three-years category.

3.You will then be asked to upload your entry photograph. To make it easier for judging we ask if you can send a reasonably close-up head shot in portrait format.

4. The closing date for entries is Wednesday, July 24, 2019.

HOW TO VOTE

Readers can vote for the bonniest baby by collecting voting vouchers running each week in East Kilbride News from Wednesday, July 31 edition and sending these into us.

Readers can collect as many voting vouchers as they like – there are no limitations. However, photocopies will not count.
