HOW IS THE TOXIN GATHERED
The toxin is scraped off the back of the frog after it is tied in an X shape, with its limbs bound to sticks with string. Claire says Inner Mastery have been offering such retreats since 2014, receiving over 70,000 participants worldwide.
She said that Kambo can be used as a deep physical cleanse, to detox and boost immune system, to release a need to depend on a particular substance or behaviour they feel is limiting them, or to support a process of overcoming a certain disease or condition.
Of her role, Claire said: “We don’t claim to heal and don’t claim the remedies heal, although we certainly do witness deep healing and transformation in hundreds of people every month.

“Most people feel some apprehension when entering their first Kambo session, partly because the unknown is typically a scary thing for human beings, and partly because they will have undoubtedly seen different anecdotal accounts of people’s Kambo experiences, some of which may have included some pretty uncomfortable moments.
“In general, people’s experiences tend to be less scary than they may have imagined. The Kambo process typically only lasts betwen 20 and 40 minutes, and although some people may experience quite intense physical discomfort during the peak moments when they may purge or feel dizzy or weak, this passes quickly.
“Within a couple of hours of their session, many people already begin to feel lighter, clearer and with a new perspective on themselves and the world.
“Kambo is typically an extremely safe remedy when used consciously, in moderate doses, combined with a safe space, experienced facilitators and supportive integration to allow people to connect with their own inner process.
“At Inner Mastery we have certifed conventional-medicine doctors who are always available to discuss any individual cases with, to check the possibility for any contraindication with any conditions a person may have or medictation they may be taking, and to provide support at any time.
“These retreats are not about working with remedies nor about ‘taking a session’– we use a combination of tools to support people in their own process and the magic naturally occurs when a person truly opens themselves up to a process.
