Taking time to focus on reflections

This week I am taking a look at another one of my favourite photography genres - Reflection Photography.

Over the past few years this has always been a look that I like to achieve and keep an eye out for.

When I am out walking I will always be looking at puddles, rivers and lochs to see what is reflecting off the surface.

In fact it doesn't even have to be water giving the reflection.

You can use windows, mirrors and I have even started to use my phone screen.

Strangely enough I dont mind the odd rainy day so I can go out and take photos against the puddles, as you can see from some of my Edinburgh and East Kilbride efforts.

I have also included a favourite of mine taken at Loch Ard on my recent staycation.

Get out and give it a go I say. Utilise the often miserable Scottish weather to your photography advantage.
