Trial date set over dealing
A man is to stand trial accused of supplying cocaine in East Kilbride.
Alban Imeraj, 22, of Greenhill Road, Rutherglen, allegedly supplied the Class A drug to Alin McLean in Main Street on April 3.
Imeraj is also accused of being in possession of a European Union driving licence and a Bulgarian ID card, both of which were said to be false.
A further charge states that he attempted to pervert the course of justice by handing police the documents and pretending to be Stefan Chakalov.
Imeraj denied the charges at Hamilton Sheriff Court last week and trial was set for March 16.
At an earlier hearing McLean, 44, of Tivoli Court, East Kilbride, admitted possession of cocaine, a knife and an offensive weapon - an implement adapted with a ball and handle.
He was fined £520.
