Gray staysin Scotland squad list

East Kilbride’s Richie Grayhas kept his place in the Scotland squadforth­eir thirdSix Nations match, against France on Sunday, with GregorTown­send making several changes.

However, there is some doubtover whetherthe match in Paris will goahead, after a Frenchplay­er testedposi­tive.

Gray and brother Jonny are in the squad, with uncappedBa­thback-row JoshBaylis­s and GlasgowWar­riors scrum-halfJamie Dobie coming in.

Returning tothesquad are Jamie Bhatti, currentlyw­ithBath,Worcester

Warrior Cornell du Preez and Glasgow Warriors duoRobHarl­ey and Sam Johnson.

Fly-half AdamHastin­gstakes his place in thesquad, having trainedwit­h them sincetheen­d ofJanuary to aidhis return from injury.

Scottish Rugby have warned thata postponeme­ntof the gamein Paris couldhavea hugeimpact on their Six Nationscam­paign.

They say it could leavethemw­ithouta chunk of thesquad.

A statement read:”Scotland’s national team are continuing their preparatio­ns to playFrance­in Paris on Sunday.

“Our players, coachesand fans hope the gamecangoa­head as planned in the existing tournament­schedule.

“Any postponeme­nt will havean impact on the player release agreement inplace with clubs, which could see more than 10 Scotland players unavailabl­e for selection if the game is rearranged.

“We will be working closelywit­h our Si Nationscou­nterparts to press the case forthis week’s gameto goahead, should it be medically safeto doso.”
