Gray staysin Scotland squad list
East Kilbride’s Richie Grayhas kept his place in the Scotland squadfortheir thirdSix Nations match, against France on Sunday, with GregorTownsend making several changes.
However, there is some doubtover whetherthe match in Paris will goahead, after a Frenchplayer testedpositive.
Gray and brother Jonny are in the squad, with uncappedBathback-row JoshBayliss and GlasgowWarriors scrum-halfJamie Dobie coming in.
Returning tothesquad are Jamie Bhatti, currentlywithBath,Worcester
Warrior Cornell du Preez and Glasgow Warriors duoRobHarley and Sam Johnson.
Fly-half AdamHastingstakes his place in thesquad, having trainedwith them sincetheend ofJanuary to aidhis return from injury.
Scottish Rugby have warned thata postponementof the gamein Paris couldhavea hugeimpact on their Six Nationscampaign.
They say it could leavethemwithouta chunk of thesquad.
A statement read:”Scotland’s national team are continuing their preparations to playFrancein Paris on Sunday.
“Our players, coachesand fans hope the gamecangoahead as planned in the existing tournamentschedule.
“Any postponement will havean impact on the player release agreement inplace with clubs, which could see more than 10 Scotland players unavailable for selection if the game is rearranged.
“We will be working closelywith our Si Nationscounterparts to press the case forthis week’s gameto goahead, should it be medically safeto doso.”
