East Kilbride Thistle have ambitious plans to lift their pitch in a bid to solve long-standing drainage problems.
Money has come in to the club via sponsorship, and manager Iain Diack hopes it can let them play games.
He said: “Drastic work needs to be done to the pitch.
“It rains and games are off.
“The bottom corner collects water, and no matter what we do we just can’t seem to get on top of it.
“There’s no fault in that, it’s just the way it is.
“The only thing we can do is lift the pitch, fix the problem underneath and relay the surface.”
