Beer we go again as festival returns to village

-

It may still be mid-winter but there is a beaming ray of sun on the horizon as tickets for this year’s Eaglesham Beer Festival go on sale this week.

Having gone toe-to-toe with TRNSMT on a revised date last year, the popular event returned with a bang.

That saw thousands of people descend on the sleepy village in early July for a fun-filled community event.

And having moved from their regular end of May /start of June slot, the festival will run in July this year.

Now locals can get their hands on the highly-sought after tickets at a sales event in the village.

Aimed at ensuring Eaglesham residents are given first chance at getting their hands on tickets, the beer festival team will be at the Eglinton Arms Hotel this Thursday (February 16).

Running from 6pm in the function suite bar, the event is a great chance to secure tickets for July, grab a beer, and find out more about the event.

Organiser Fraser Wilson said: “Last year’s deferred event was probably one of our best yet.

“There was a great family and community feel, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for more of the same this year.”

As well as an array of craft beers from some of Scotland’s best breweries, there will be gin, cocktails, wine and fantastic street food.

That will be backed up by fantastic live music and children’s entertainment.

Those unable to make it along to secure their tickets this week won’t have long to wait, with briefs going on general sale at 9am on Friday, February 24.

For more information on the upcoming event, tickets and who will be pouring, make sure and

follow the festival’s socials on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
