In 2020 I was a front line worker NHS. I tested positive for COVID 2020.

I am slowly recovering from LONG COVID 2years on.This is life changing, and recovery takes time.

Through covid I have developed

PoTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), dysautonomia, breathing pattern disfunction, malnutrition, neurological deficits, chronic fatigue syndrome, and come back of previous diagnosis of fibromyalgia. It affects every system in my body. I have issues including neurological , cardiovascular, respiratory, gastric, endocrine, nerve, bladder, loss of balance, tinnitus, taste and smell, and mental heath.

When I met Melody at Tai Chi Wellness Center, I was so weak that I had difficulty talking. Hearing someone say they could help me was a huge relief! I was losing hope. I was new to traditional Chinese medicine and therapies, traveling to therapies was very tiring for me. But I felt the benefits after 4 sessions.The benefits lasted longer between sessions, it was going so well. During the treatment, I tested positive for covid again, my worst fear! Although I was unwell, I got better quicker. I realized my body was so much stronger now. I continue to feel more stronger and have more energy.

My nails and hair is growing, My skin is not as dry and my taste is returning.

I can walk a short distance without my walking stick. I can drive again.

I don’t think the Tai Chi Wellness Centre will ever know just how much comfort, hope and strength they have given me!

I am also having rehabilitation, and the aim is to recover enough to return to work. This is new to Western medicine.To Chinese medicine this is not new. it’s something they known how to do very well!
