CHURCH SERVICES
Sunday church services are at 10.30am, with tea and coffee available after the service. The service is also available on Zoom.

BIBLE STUDY
The weekly Bible studies continue for those who are interested on Wednesdays at 7.30pm.
FOODBANK
The EK Foodbank continues to be available for people who need its services, for one hour only on Thursdays from 11am to 12pm.
Refreshments are also available on the day while the foodbank is in operation.
ORGANISATIONS
Information and contact details about the Smarteenies, 2nd EK Boys’ Brigade and 2nd EK Girls’ Brigade can be found on their respective Facebook pages.
CHURCH LEPROSY SUNDAY
Join us for worship on January 28 at the usual time of 11am in the Old Parish Church.
Envelopes, which can be gift aided, will be given out at this service to support this worthy cause and can handed in any Sunday throughout February.
Tea and coffee will be served after the service in the lower hall.

On sale after the morning service are sestercentennial celebratory bone china mugs at £9 and special lapel pins at £5.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
This meets in the upper hall next to the church at the usual time of 11am where we cater for preschool to P7. Children should be dropped off between 10.50am and 11am and be collected after the service.
YOUTH GROUP
This meets on Sundays from 3pm to 5pm in the youth group room, Glebe Street, and is for P7-S6.
CHILDREN’S ART GROUP
This meets on Thursday from 4.30pm until 6pm in the Glebe Street hall.
JUNOR BADMINTON CLUB
This meets Friday from 4pm until 5.30pm in the Glebe Street hall.
COFFEE MORNING
Join us with your friends on Thursday mornings from 10am until noon in the Glebe Street hall. Enjoy tea/coffee and tray bakes while getting a heat and some chat! All welcome.
CRAFT CLUB
This meets on a Wednesday in the lounge area of the church from 10am until noon. Lots of different crafts to enjoy along with a cuppa warmth and a chat. All welcome.
LOAVES AND FISHES
For the vulnerable in our community, there is a box at the church door on Sundays for non-perishable food, all toiletries, hygiene and cleaning products.
BURNS SUPPER
This will be on Saturday, February 3, in the Glebe Street hall. Tickets are now available after church in the lower hall. These are priced at £18 and include soup, haggis, neeps and tatties, dessert, tea and coffee and of course the entertainment.
CARPET BOWLS
This will be on Monday, February 5, at 2pm in the Glebe Street hall. All welcome.
THE GUILD
The next meeting is on Wednesday, January 24, in the Glebe Street Hall at 2pm. This will be a Burns afternoon with poetry,singing and Scottish fare.
MEN’S ASSOCIATION
The next meeting is on Monday, January 29, at 2pm in the Glebe Street Hall. The speaker will be our own Rev Anne Paton. All welcome.
DATED FOR YOUR DIARY
Communion Sunday – February 4. Also, Thursday, February 8. Short service of communion at 12pm followed by a light lunch in lower hall at 12.30pm. Everyone welcome.
Messy Church – Sunday, February 4, 2pm to 4pm in the Glebe Street Hall.
East Kilbride Fairtrade Group – They are holding an evening on Tuesday, February 6, in the lower hall at 7pm. The choir of St Kenneth’s will be singing at this and the Co-op will have a stall with examples of Fairtrade goods.
Sestercentennial family quiz afternoon – Sunday, March 24, in the Glebe Street hall. More info to come.
