SUNDAY SERVICE

Join us for worship on February 25 at the usual time of 11am in the Old Parish Church. Tea and coffee will be served after the service in the lower hall.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

This meets in the upper hall next to the church at the usual time of 11am where we cater for preschool to P7. Children should be dropped off between 10.50am and 11am and be collected after the service.

YOUTH GROUP

This meets on Sundays from 3pm to 5pm in the youth group room, Glebe Street, and is for P7-S6.

LENT BIBLE STUDIES

Based on the book and film

Chocolat, sessions will be held weekly on Fridays, beginning February 16 and finishing on March 22.

All the sessions will begin at noon in the lower hall and will include a soup lunch.

Our second session is ‘Giving up – the prelude to change.’ Please note each week is a standalone session so it doesn’t matter if you are unable to attend all of these. This is open to all and not just EKOPC members.

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER

This will be on Friday, March 1, at 2pm in St Bride’s Church. Members of local churches will take part. The service this year has been prepared by a group of Palestinia­n Christian women. All are welcome.

CHILDREN’S ART GROUP

This meets on Thursday from 4.30pm until 6pm in the Glebe Street hall.

JUNIOR BADMINTON CLUB

This meets Friday from 4pm until 5.30pm in the Glebe Street hall.

COFFEE MORNING

Join us with your friends on Thursday mornings from 10am until noon in the Glebe Street hall. Enjoy tea/coffee and tray bakes while getting a heat and some chat! All welcome.

CRAFT CLUB

This meets on a Wednesday in the lounge area of the church from 10am until noon. Lots of different crafts to enjoy along with a cuppa warmth and a chat. All welcome.

LOAVES AND FISHES

For the vulnerable in our community, there is a box at the church door on Sundays for non-perishable food, all toiletries, hygiene and cleaning products.

CARPET BOWLS

This will be on Monday, March 4, at 2pm in the Glebe Street hall. All welcome.

THE GUILD

The next meeting is on Wednesday, February 28, in the

Glebe Street Hall at 2pm. There will be a speaker from the Vine Trust, talking about the Kazunzu village of Hope in Tanzania, one of the Guild projects to be supported this year. All welcome.

MEN’S ASSOCIATIO­N

The next meeting is on Monday, February 26, at 2pm in the Glebe Street Hall. The speaker will be Ken Lawton, sharing stories under the heading ‘An Actor’s Life for Me’. All welcome.
