Praise for NHS vaccine set-up
VH PATEL, a former trustee of the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Neasden, London, said, “The government has made good arrangements for all, especially those who have health complications, to get vaccinated quickly.
“I received a text message on my mobile phone with a weblink. There were a lot of options for the days and time of vaccination. I also heard rumours that getting vaccinated has side effects that are dangerous, but without worrying about anything, I booked my vaccine at Park Royal Hospital on December 17.”
Patel, 83, who lives in north Wembley and has previously undergone a coronary bypass and two angioplasty operations, praised the arrangement to administer vaccines.
He said, “From wheelchairs to marshals who pay attention to your every need, it is unbelievable to be vaccinated without any fees. The nurse asked my medical history before giving me the vaccine. I was vaccinated after making sure I had no allergies.
“After I was vaccinated, I went shopping and 24 hours later, I did not have any problem.
“The vaccine is very important for the elderly and people with diseases, so it is foolish not to take it.”
