Vanilla, honey kefir ice cream

(You will need an ice cream maker for this recipe)

Ingredient­s:

2 large eggs 5 tbsp honey (you may need more depending on the sourness of your kefir) 2 cups milk kefir 1 cup double cream 2 tsp vanilla extract (try using one with the ground vanilla flecks)

Method:

Beat the eggs using a handheld whisk. Add the honey and beat until everything is combined.

Add the milk kefir along with the double cream and vanilla. Stir and taste. Add more honey, if needed. Once ice cream is frozen it tastes less sweet.

Add to ice cream maker and follow the instructio­ns. This ice cream tastes like a frozen, creamier version of frozen yoghurt.
