Ansari’s show set to return

INDIAN American Aziz Ansari’s (right) awardwinning series Master of None is reportedly set to return for a third season in London, it was revealed last week.

The comedy-drama is expected to be shot in the UK capital, four years after the last episodes of the popular Netflix show aired.

The plot revolves around Dev (played by Ansari), following his romantic, professional, and personal experiences in New York.

Work on the show was apparently postponed last year, due to the pandemic. Ansari hinted at the show’s return last May, after he was asked about plans for a third season of the series. He responded: “If I’m not writing something now [during lockdown], it’s pretty lazy, right?”

Ansari, 37, has kept a relatively low profile since he was accused of sexual misconduct in January 2018. He denies wrongdoing. Ansari resumed stand-up comedy in May 2018.
