STAR KID RENEE IS READY TO DO IT ON HER OWN

SHE may be the adopted daughter of popular beauty queen turned Bollywood star Sushmita Sen, but Renee Sen (below) is determined to make it as an actress on her own. The 21-year-old made a lowkey debut without any fanfare in short film Suttabaazi, which premiered recently on Disney-Hotstar, and only landed the role after an audition. Renee is proud of having got the short film on her own merit and said she didn’t want to take her privilege for granted. 45-yearold Sushmita had adopted Renee in 2000 and later adopted a second girl, Alisah, in 2010.
