ZAYN’S NEW ALBUM IS GOOD BUT ‘NO ONE IS LISTENING’

WITH his second album Icarus Falls badly underperforming in 2018, Zayn Malik (right) was under pressure to deliver something substantial with No One Is Listening, but mostly average reviews mean it will likely be another misfire. Although there is undoubted artistry on the album, including a clever use of Bollywood classic Chaudhvin Ka Chand and strong music production, there just isn’t a monster hit. His global superstardom means the British singer-songwriter can survive his third album failing and will get more chances.
