PROMISING PUNK COMEDY

CHANNEL 4 unveiled the terrific teaser trailer of We Are Lady Parts (right) and it already looks like being the most original comedy of 2021.

The six-part musical series celebrating sisterhood follows a Muslim female punk band called Lady Parts who are on a mission to find a lead guitarist and get a proper gig. The series written, created and directed by Nida Manzoor

has original punk songs and surprising cover tracks. The strong British ensemble cast includes Anjana Vasan, Sarah Kameela

Impey, Zaqi Ismail, Juliette Motamed, Faith Omole, Lucie Shorthouse and Aiysha Hart.
