Virtual talk with playwright

PLAYWRIGHT and actress Lolita Chakrabarti

(right) will reveal insights into her wideranging career in the arts during an upcoming virtual discussion.

Chakrabarti is due to partake in Oxford Universities’ Humanities Cultural Programme, announced this week.

The Visiting Fellowship will include the 51-year-old star live in conversation at 5pm next Thursday (13).

As well as speaking on her most recent theatre ventures (including her latest production Hymn), Chakrabarti will participate in a Q&A session for those interested in pursuing a career in theatre.

Viewers can also take part in a ‘Masterclass’ on her award-winning play, Red Velvet.

Chakrabarti is starring in the forthcoming crime drama Vigil, which will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
